Travel - International clients are advised to fly into Johannesburg International Airport (OR Tambo) where you will be met by your guide and driven in air-conditioned comfort to our hunting area.

Firearms

• Client's Firearm:
  • A temporary importation license is required for all firearms in South Africa. You will receive it upon arrival at Johannesburg International Airport. For a list of required documentation from country of origin please contact us, and we will be happy to provide it to you.
• Rental Firearm:
  • We have rental firearms available at an additional charge if you do not wish to bring your own rifle.
• Rifles
  • Only calibers .243 and bigger will be allowed. Hunters would be required to shoot a reasonable grouping before hunting. All rifles should be placed in a safe when not hunting.
• Bows
  • Bows should be checked for accuracy before the hunt.

Health - We are within a short distance of medical facilities and pharmacy with over-the-counter medication. We suggest that you obtain an extra prescription from your doctor and bring the medicines with you.

Please Note : We are situated in a malaria zone and we suggest that you start a malaria regimen before arriving for the hunt. Please consult a licensed physician for medical advice.

Clothing - We recommend the use of lightweight cotton clothing in natural colors like khaki, green or camouflage. Pants and long sleeve shirts are recommended because they afford the best protection against scrapes and sunburn. Short sleeve shirts and shorts may also be worn at own discretion. Hunting boots must be broken-in and comfortable. A wide rim hat is advised as it protects the neck and face from the sun. A jacket should be included for the early morning and evening can be quite cold, especially while socializing around the fire.

Insurance - We will take every possible precaution to ensure the safety of our clients, but we cannot be held liable for any injury, illness, accident or loss that occurs while on safari. We recommend that our clients obtain their own insurance against any of the above, including a cancellation insurance.
